India has no Epic. So clinics still run on paper.
The big hospital chains have their systems. But India's small and medium clinics, where most people actually get care: run on paper registers, phone calls and a handful of disconnected tools. There's no central EMR tying it together. We think that's the real problem worth solving.
Why we're building Prescr
Walk into a typical Indian clinic and you'll see it: a fresh vitals sheet for every visit, a doctor skimming a stack of old prescriptions, diagnosis and medicines scribbled onto one page, a front desk juggling walk-ins, phones and billing in a register. The patient leaves with a plastic bag of loose papers and no single thread of their own history.
Prescr replaces that manual, disconnected operating model with one connected system: intake, vitals, queue, consultation, prescription, billing, pharmacy and a lifelong patient record, for the front desk and the doctor's cabin alike. Because there's no incumbent platform to copy, we get to build it the way Indian clinics actually work: walk-in-first, phone-first, bilingual, and light enough to run on the device in your pocket.
How we work
We're starting with a small group of founding clinics who go connected with us first, hands-on and personally onboarded. They shape the product; we handle the rest. We keep patient data in India, we never sell it, and a doctor reviews and signs every AI-drafted note.
Prescr is made in India by RG INSYS.
